Switching from BB service plan to G1 plan with FlexPay

I've seen that there's a good amount of T-Mobile employees on here. I was hoping someone could solve a problem I'm having.

I'm a current T-Mo customer/ Blackberry user. I went into the store yesterday to get a G1 and switch my service plan. Everything was going fine until the CSR told me that they couldn't switch my plan from BB to G1 until the end of my service cycle (I'm on FlexPay :/.) I asked if they could just add the G1 service and credit my account for the prorated amount of my BB service, no go. Any way I can get around this? I want a G1 so bad that I can taste it and I really don't want to wait until next month.
 
ima tmobile rep and as far as i know you have to wait till the end becuse everything on flex pay is prepiad that why we cant prorate it like a normal contract coustomer.

I'm switching to a family plan. I'll be paying $69.99 for 1000 mns, plus $20 for unlimited text for both lines, plus the 25 for G1 data.
 
not bad just make sure its a myfaves familey plan. also how much are they charging you for the phone? and what company did you have before
 
It would have been prorated had you not already had a BB plan on your account. Flex customers have to wait for the old data plan to drop off before the new one can be added.

I'm paying $179 for the phone. I actually thought I couldn't get the full discount, but I called cust care and they told me if I added a second line I could get the full discount. Luckily my girl was up for switching to a family plan...

I've been with T-Mo since December of '07.
 
you were blessed with a tmobile chrismas gift buddy.. does not usally give that kind of discoun check and make sure your not getting a contract becuse thats the contract price
 
I'm definitely staying on FlexPay. I'm stoked that I'm geting that price, I def wouldn't be able to afford it otherwise! I just wish I could get it now, but hell, for that price I can wait...
