Switching from Pocket PC, and a MicroSD question

Hi, all, just got two Android phones for the wife and me. An HTC Aria for her, a Samsung Captivate for me. Previously I was using a Dell Axim Pocket PC and a flip phone, now consolidating into one device.

This looks like a good place to hang out and learn how to get everything out of the new phones. Hopefully I'll get up to speed and be able to contribute soon as well.

My first question: Do faster MicroSD cards make a difference in either of these phones? Should I get Class 6, or will Class 2 behave the same?

In the newer phones it's possible to get better performance out of higher class micro SD cards. Will you actually see an improvement in performance? Maybe...
