Switching to Android today???

Hey there everyone,

I'm considering Switching over from iOS to Android today.

I am plannning on picking up a Galaxy Tab 10.1 and a new Android Phone.

I'm on AT&T and was wondering which Phone everyone recommends? I was leaning towards the Samsung Infuse, I know it is running 2.2 Froyo out of the box. Do you know if it will upgrade to gingerbread?

Those are common, broad reaching and virtually impossible questions to answer.

Everyone has different needs and uses for their mobile devices. My recommendation may be completely off base for you. Even my evaluation criteria may leave some people scratching their heads wondering if I really am a lunatic. In any event, my best suggestion is to get to the store and try out all the phones. I am sure one will feel better in your hand, and seem to be more responsive to the way you will use it.

AT&T's top phones are the Atrix, Inspire and Infuse. All are very good phones, but each has a different Launcher, so the initial look and feel will be very different.

As to which phone will get upgrades ... HTC leads the pack with bringing them to older devices, but it is never a guarantee.
