HTC EVO 4G LTE Lightning Review: The Phone That Would Be King (But Isn't)
The only thing I don't like about the review is, it didn't compare another Sprint phone's 3G speeds. I'm inclined to think that the "radio" issues they're talking about are more about Sprint going through the Network Vision changes vs. problems with the LTEvo radios. Right now, my 3G speeds are way worse than the same time last year using my EVO, which can't even compare to the MoPho as far as processing speed.
That said, I'm still waiting it out until all of the superphones have actually been released. Depending on what the MoPhoQ looks like and the specs that are in that device, that'll likely be the phone that I'll "pre-order," knowing that I could easily switch to either the LTEvo or LTEpic. I'm doubtful that I'll switch to the LTEpic, since the rumors are that it'll only offer a 16gb internal storage version, unlike the international SGS 3 that'll have up to a 64gb version. That and the color scheme on the SGS 3 is the main reason it's more in the running than I would've given for a Samsung phone in the past.
Despite the reports of LG having "bad" support, I'm not convinced that it's any worse than Samsung's history, so the LS970 (or whatever the number is) is a phone that I might consider also, which would mean not pre-ordering the MoPhoQ (once it's announced).
Historically, I've always pre-ordered a phone, but the only reason I'm waiting this year is just to get a feel for which device will suit my needs the best. I jumped on the MoPho pre-order because it by far exceeded my needs compared to the E4GT and 3VO. I'm just glad I've got about 3 months to put aside some cash for my final decision.
