Help Switching to internal storage causing stuff on SD card to be inaccessible....

So, I'm rooted (S-off) running Cyanogen 7.2.0, and I want to be able to use internal storage for my apps, as well as the SD card.

I've got 6.59GB of space on mnt/emmc, but every time I select use Internal storage, my SD card isn't recognized anymore. Does using internal storage just nullify the SD card? When I check in Astro, it's as if it's a fresh SD card - but linking up to my computer shows that it's a full card.

If I change it back to not using internal storage (rebooting each time, as I should), then everything restores itself. It takes a few minutes, but then I can get to everything on the card.

I've got a lot of apps on that SD card, and 2.77GB of space left on it, but only 71.73MB left on internal storage per the phone (the partition seems to only be 748MB) and I can't update apps anymore because the phone says I have insufficient storage.

What's an Incredible user to do? Do I need to move apps back to the phone, or just re-install apps after I change to internal storage and reformat the card as if it were fresh?

Help.
