Swype bug with Samsung GalaxyS

Hi,
I have an issue with my Samsung GalaxyS GT-I9000 (Firmwware version 2.3.2) with swype. I have recently upgraded from froyo to gingerbread. While using with Froyo it was working fine and after upgrade its showing the current swype is for another device message. How can i solve this problem?

Try uninstalling then reinstalling? If not then you might have to contact swype to get updated for GB apk??

thank you for your quick reply. I did uninstall and install process still its not working and saying the same. I found in swype website that GalaxyS came with pre-instsalled swype version will not work after installing the beta version. So what i am missing here?

Hard to say, might be a problem on the swype side of things...

Not sure which is your phone.. sorry... if you can find it on that list^ (if not let me know) then please search that section for swype threads (or start a new one if there isn't any) and see if other users with your phone have had same issue. Apart from that you would have to contact swype and see what the problem is
