I noticed that Swiftkey is in Android market at the discounted price. Anyone knows how it compares to the stock Swype. I like the stock but would like to know if any of the others are better. Anyone tried them?

I tried Swift Key, it was nice but the themes weren't really to my liking so I uninstalled and went back to the ICS keyboard.

For the price, there's no harm in giving it a go.

There's also SlideIt.

Actually just wondering if there are actually tangible benefits to the stock Swype. The swype system is really a great thing once you get used to it. Just wondering if all these paid apps are better than stock swype.

What does everybody think?

I am currently using the ICS keyboard (free on the market). I used to use Swype but found it not so good recently. I bought Swiftkey for 10p, didn't like it so have gone back to ICS. 10p to try it myself was a no-brainer.

Swype is best. Did not like slide it at all but bought swift key at reduced price as a backup keyboard in case I install a ROM in the future without Swype. Seems good but typing rather than swyping.
