Swype; document viewer

Hi,

Samsung Fit comes with Swype; document viewer. Could you please explain what is it exactly? Does it allow you to read/edit documents in .doc,.docx, xls, xlsx, ppt,pptx txt pdf formats.If not is there any free app that can allow me to do so.
