Any time I try to use swype in a forum such as this one it stars acting crazy.....hit the back/del eat button and it begins to double post words! Anyone else have this happen? Its fine while texting or on Google search

Same thing here. Only happens with Chrome and only on certain web forms, usually in the search boxes. I couldn't find anything in the Swype forums or support that addressed the issue. I did find others that switched from Chrome to a different browser and that solved the problem for them.

I'm not ready to give up Chrome (though I don't see what is so great about it) so I got SwiftKey 3 and use their "Flow" option, which is similar to Swype.

Very odd, on dolphin now it doesn't auto space and it capitalized every word....lets keep this @the top until someone figures it out!
I'm almost ready to do a FDR!

I do have some problems with it in Chrome, but honestly Swype seems to have just gone completely nuts on me over the last several months. It seems to have loaded in some crazy ass words that I've never even heard of (not in the custom dictionary either). I always want to come in here and rant about it, but I always forget by the time I get back to a computer. By then I've forgotten what crazy thing happened.

I do know that almost every time I try to swipe the word "what" I get some crazy word like "Wherry" or something - what the hell is that? I loved Swype when I first hot my hands on it, but it pisses me off a lot now. Back in the day you had to swipe up off the top of the keyboard to capitalize words, and you had to kinda scribble around on a letter to double up a letter, nowadays it's like it just makes it's best guess as to when words should be capitalized or letters should be double (and it usually guesses terribly). I really want to switch to something better, because this is not how it originally operated at all, but I don't know of any other really solid alternatives.

The way it worked at first trained me pretty well on how to use it (everything has its quirks), but I was pretty happy once I got comfortable with what it did when and why. Now it's like it just barfs out words randomly that I either didn't come close to typing or even if I did come close to typing them are such rare, random words that there is no way the app's logic should be picking them.

Anyway, been wanting to rant about this for awhile. Carry on.

^^ Yes, me too.

I was hoping that Swift Key Flow would be my replacement, but not as long as it fails to work in address bars. You'd think if Swype can do that, Swift Key would too. Guess not.
