Swype issues and camera

I have a GS2 and the on the swype keyboard the "I" when in the middle of the sentence seems to screw it up. Have to change to droid keyboard to type the I then back to swype. Any one else have this problem?

And when setting the camera shortcuts, they disappear when camera is shut off, and have to redo them each time. Is there a way to save the settings?
