Swype update?

My wife just got an update for Swype today on her rezound. The version number it's one better than the version that comes on the RAZR. Anyone know how we might go about updating steeper since it's preinstalled on the RAZR? Just don't want to create any conflicts.
 
If you are rooted you can do it. However, doing so prevents future updates to your phone without reversing everything.... Otherwise, we have to wait for Swype to send an update to Moto and for the update to get to VZW (and everyone decide they want to include the update).
 
Thanks for the info, that's what I feared. The new version my wife has seems to be more accurate and I hoped to jump to it.

Kelmar, just so you don't have to do it twice.... Can I freeze swype with TB, then install the Beta, or do I have to delete it in order to get the updated version?
