I have a heck of a time trying to get it to type "don't". It keeps coming up as "sony" or "donut".

Try including the apostrophe in it. Works every time for me.

First of all, i have Swype on my Eris and I love it!

But what is the deal with Swype? Why is it not in the market? It could be making a LOT of money.
I guess i dont know the process of these things. I know they were doing beta testing... are they still tweaking it before it's officially released?

I ask because i know a couple of people with the Motorola Devour and I have not been able to find a download for it. Does anyone know if there's a download somewhere that works on the Devour?

Or when it will be available on the market?

Because that is the HVGA version for the Hero and Eris.

i also have the download for the motorola droid. I don't have it here, but I can get it if the above link doesn't work. i know 3 people the are using swype on their Droid from the link I have.

Trust me... if you haven't tried swype... then you dont know how much better it is.

Can I use this on my HTC Hero running 1.5? Or would I only be capable of using it if I do the upgrade? (I don't want to upgrade till Sprint officially gets it released)

Do a search on the eris forum. There's a Swype thread that has the download links. I'm running it on HTC Eris 1.5, so maybe that works on your hero. Not positive, but I hear they're almost the same phone.
As far as the incredible, there's also a download for the eris with 2.1. That might be more of a longshot, but worth a try.

Yeah, installed it on my 1.5 Hero and it works!

Definitely something I will have to try out and see if I can get used to it.

Been using it for only a few minutes now and gotta say, I really like it! Very polished, especially in its early stage.
