Sylpheed Question

Trying Sylpheed but can't find anyplace but this to ask:

1. I empty my All Mail folder and empty the trash.
2. I go back to the All Mail folder and everything has returned.

W7HP, one IMAP4 account. Works fine in Tbird... help?

I sort of solved this – every imap account comes with two trash cans. One, I assume is a local, the other is the official gmail-sanctioned trashcan. Trash has to go to there or it will keep reappearing... something like that.

In case anyone is curious, here's the trick: right-click the generic trash icon and choose Properties, then choose Trash. The prior Google trash appears in its place and the generic moves to another folder, where it can be deleted.

Anyway, it's a keeper. Sylpheed, although it uses a funky non-EML file system, uses about one tenth the memory that Tbird does. And with only one gig of RAM on my PC, that's worth a little funkiness.

Now to find a browser that acts like Firefox (with sidebar bookmarks) that also uses one tenth the memory...
