Symbols...they are just showing up

I just looked at my HTC evo and there is a music note with a line through it. What does it mean? How do I get rid of it? Also, off and on, an airplane symbol has shown up. Help!

I would hazard a guess that the music note with a line through it could mean that sounds/notifications are turned off. The airplane is referring to airplane mode (what you would turn on, so you could use your phone (for games, etc) when on a plane).

Your best bet would be to check with other users of the Evo in the right sub-forum for your phone:
