Help Sync contacts with facebook when names don't match

I have several friends that have different names on facebook rather than their real names. When I go to "join" them in the contact list their names don't come up at all. Is there a way to manually pick the profile from all of my friends, or manually add it some other way?

There should be a merge option. Select the FB profile you want to merge, select the option by pressing the menu button; depending on the name your phone might show you some names that have a partial match with the profile you select, otherwise you can select All Friends and search for the especific match yourself.

That's the way I did it when I first got my Andriod, so there might be another, easier way to do it.
