hi , im a newby to android...
i have a galaxy s3 , i cant seem to hook my apps and email up to my mobile data , they all work on wifi though ,
when i go into setting for my email or apps , its says that sync is disbaled . ive been told to enable this but i dont know how .. can any one help with this please ??

You don't need Sync for e-mail, however the easiest way to turn it on is to drop the Power Widget on a home screen: this has a button for switching Sync on and off.

Sounds to me like your mobile data is turned off - can you use the browser via mobile?

Assuming your settings menus are the same as mine, you can turn data on by going to Settings, hitting More .. under Wireless and Networks then hitting Mobile Networks. Finally, check that Data enabled is ticked.

the attachment i have is showing what is going on. my mobile data is on , my emails and apps only work with wifi , not my mobile data if that makes sence

Under common settings touch settings & there should be an option to change the sync frequency. It's probably set to never at the moment.

Additionally in your main system settings options you should see accounts & sync. Are background data & Auto-sync enabled?

Also in settings>wireless & networks>mobile networks is Data enabled ticked?

Do other apps work via mobile data?
