Help sync droid with comcast mail/

Has anyone figured out how to do this? I get my comcast mail on the droid with no problem, but I have to delete it and then delete each one from the trash to get rid of them. If I delete on my desktop it still doesn't delete from droid. Thanks in advance.

I use Gmail on the desktop & forward Comcast e-mail to it -- then use Gmail on the Droid -- Gmail synchs fine between Droid & desktop

That sounds like it's worth a try, thanks. Will everything sync back and forth. Ex. -If I delete from Comcast desktop will it delete from Gmail and Droid? Or if I delete from Droid will it sync delete Gmail and Comcast?

I think the only synching is between phone and gmail -- I only use gmail on my computers, it pulls email from comcast, but it is not an IMAP connection -- no synch.
