Help sync facebook birthday with galaxy s3 calendar

Hi everyone first of all, I am teetering between the note and the S3! I'm switching from apple to android this week. I am NOT impressed with the proposed Iphone 5 bla bla..
anyway, I absolutely loved the Note, just a smige too big but I think I can work with that! Now I'm trying out the S3 and it seems too small!! can't win.
Is there a way to sync face book birthdays to the calendar? I could with the note! Why are two Samsung with practically the same software so different??
Thanks
Tim

Hey Timmy, welcome again! ;) I moved this to the Samsung Galaxy S3 forum, you will get a quicker answer there. Thanks for understanding :)

Hey folks, looking for the same answer to wanted to bump this back up.
Is there a way to sync FB birthdays to the calendar? It doesn't show up as an option like I used to see on an old phone.

Hey guys ... this can be done on the GS3. In order to do it I had to go into settings -> accounts and sync -> add account -> "Facebook (for syncing)". This will take you to the mobile login for facebook then will ask to authorize Samsung to have access to your personal data. Once you allow and install that it will give you the option to sync your calendar and/or gallery.

This will add your friends birthdays and events in your calendar. It will also show your Facebook albums in your gallery app. It doesn't seem to give you access to your friends photos like you can with HTC Sense (or you used to be able to).

Enjoy! :-)

I gave this a try, and it synced my FB calendar events, but not birthdays. Is there something that I'm doing wrong?
