Sync from phone to multiple calendars

I have seen a thousand permutations of this question, but never the precise one I am asking. I have a user with a new Samsung Galaxy S II. He has a Google calendar and a corporate Exchange calendar. He wants to be able to create appointments on the Samsung and sync them out to both the Google and Exchange calendars. However, as far as I can see and tell, the only possiblity is for him to choose to create new calendar entries for one of the three calendars: the phone calendar OR the Google calendar OR the Exchange calendar.
Am I missing something, or is this functionality not part of the Android calendar?

Well, you could set your Google Account to sync directly to an Exchange Calendar I think, so you only update the Google Calendar yet change is reflected on the Exchange. For example, I have a setup that when I edit Google Calendar on my phone, it automatically reflects to my desktop Outlook and Windows Live account.

chanchan05, thanks for the response! Unfortunately, he wants to keep his Exchange clean, but the Google and phone he wants to aggregate a couple calendars. I can't believe that Android can't do something as simple as have a new calendar entry sync to two or more accounts.

I've never had an OS that can enter into two separate accounts simultaneously, even Outlook can't do that and its a full fledged PC program, so its not exactly as easy as you think.

I don't exactly know what you mean by "keeping his Exchange clean". You did say he wants to sync his calendar to his Exchange, so why not just sync Exchange directly to Google?

What calendar options does he have on the SIII? If he has more than one can he not select a different one for Google than for Exchange? Or, if he has only the one calendar, can you not create a second via Gmail (or rather, the calendar options within gmail) but then not sync it with gmail but exchange, say?

Then on the device you just use a calendar app to 'display' one or other or both. Though you'd obviously have to remember which calendar was which and sync the appropriate one ....

PS: not done this, just thinking what I'd try if I had this problem so no guarantee that it works ...

You could try a third party solution like Pocket Informant. I believe it does exchange and it combines all your calendars into one view, but when creating an event it allows you to choose which calendar on which to post the event.
