Help Sync GT-I9100 with Outlook 2013 on Win 8.1

I've recently attempted to sync my Samsung Galaxy S II with Outlook 2013 and have received an error message - 'An error occurred while syncing GT-I9100 schedule. Syncing cancelled'. I've uninstalled Kies and then reinstalled yet still the error appears. I've also changed the USB cable but this doesn't help. I'm running Windows 8 in desktop mode.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Hi Chris, Welcome to Android Forums!

First off, I move your post into its own thread. That other thread was pretty old and for different versions of Kies/Outlook/Windows so it might not be relevant anymore.

What exactly are you trying to sync? Messages? Calendar? The whole shebang? I don't have my SII running stock anymore and only use it to play around with roms, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was no longer supported up through the newer versions of Outlook and Windows.

Sorry for not coming back to you. I had this problem and then an update of Kies came out and the problem went away. However, today the error message has come back.

I am trying to sync my Outlook calendar (2013 version) with the one on the SII Android phone.
