"Sync has failed" message

About a week ago, I got a message that said something like "sync has failed" or "sync is unavailable". Being in the middle of other pressing things, I sort of forgot about it. Looking at Settings/Accounts &Sync, I see that nothing has synched since 2/21, over a week ago.

What to do?

I suppose you are referring to KIES :) Why not try out MyPhoneExplorer FJ Software Development. It can do everything KIES does except update the firmware & access Samsung apps. :) I have been using it from my K750i days & later it started supporting Android so my shift from my old phone to the current one was painless. You can use USB cable/WiFi/Bluetooth to connect your phone to your computer.

Try this suggestion from EarlyMon. I haven't had sync issues myself, but I saw his post this morning for a different sync gone haywire issue. Often issues in Android have common fixes. Please post back and let me know if it works.

...go into settings, Accounts & sync, turn off Background data and Auto-sync, cycle power on the phone, then go into settings and turn both back on. The phone ought to sync for a minute or two and be done with it.

That was it. Thanks a lot!
