Sync Instagram folder with Dropbox/Computer?

Hello.

Is there a way to automatically upload photos taken or edited in Instagram to my computer?

At the moment any photos I take with the regular camera are uploaded to my Dropbox.

Can the same happen with Instagram?

You need a app like FolderSync or Sugarsync. FolderSync allows you to select multiple folders on your phone to automatically sync to Dropbox. Sugarsync is a cloud service which allows you to select any folder on your phone to their server (and from there to your PC).

You already have Dropbox. Install the free companion app DropSync and configure it to sync (upload) the contents of your Instagram folder to your DropBox.
That's all.
