Hi,
I did a factory reset on my phone last week because something was seriously draining my battery. I was amazed to see my 74+ apps being downloaded and installed again. This time I'm running into a problem when my phone tries to auto sync.
Whenever I have it turned on, my phone is a brick and it drains my battery. I can't activate any icons or apps, I can't turn off the phone. I normally have to yank out the battery. I've left it on overnight to sync and in the morning I'll only get a message that my clock crashed. If I can turn off sync before sync executes then I'm OK.
The two accounts it's trying to sync is Facebook (v1.3.2) and Google.

I did a factory reset and removed about 3/4 of the applications I had installed (84). I'm also ONLY syncing with Google and not Last.fm or Facebook. So far everything seems to be fine. So; I'm going to ignorantly blame Facebook's inaccurate API implementation and maintenance.

I figured out that it was the lastest build of Gmail that was the problem. I reverted back to version 2.2 and syncing is fine.
