sync my old android to my computer?

i want to sync my samsung galaxy s2 to my computer but my computer wont let me. i get the notification saying USB connected but when i click on it nothing happens??
 
be sure the appropriate drivers for your phone are installed on your pc. After connecting make sure you are in mass storage mode.
