Help sync outlook emails to nexus 5

hellooo i just bought nexus 5. i have a msn email account (which i use) i would like my msn email contacts, calendars, notes etc to sync to my nexus... i dont want to deal with the gmail account.

is there an app smart enought to do this all by itself?

I believe you can do it with the stock email app. I'm almost 100% sure it comes stock on the phone alongside Gmail.

Check your app drawer for "email".

this gets the mail, it doesnt sync anything else from my msn email

Hmm interesting. I don't have an MSN account to test with.

other questions:

i would like the phone to sync to my msn email not gmail.

i would like to be able to change the color of the events in the calendar.

would you know how to do this?

In the account settings for your MSN account, you should be able to check the option to sync mail.

Likewise, in Gmail account settings, you should be able to change the sync frequency to "never".

As far as the calendar, I'll poke around, but I'm unsure because I don't really use the calendar except for the occasional quick reminder.


Edit:
When I go to create a new calendar event, it shows the account at the top of the screen. On that same ribbon, there's a color palette button that let's me choose a color.
