sync probs

My sony ericsson media sync says no phone found and when plugging in states i need a memory card when there is one in it. Tried to bring in 2 albums to the phone and was successful and now wont even recognize the songs from the computer. ??? What is blocking it?

First off when you connect your phone to your computer via USB, Android automatically unmounts the SD card drive. This is normal behavior. If you want to copy files to the SD card you are likely better off shutting down the phone, removing the SD card, installing it in a SD card slot on your computer, transfering the files, and then returning the SD card to your phone.
