Help sync samsung galaxy s gmail

Hi,

I just got in the android world and need help... :rolleyes:

I want to sync contacts and calendar from the phone to gmail, did the sync but nothing happened... :confused:

I'm also having difficulties with gmail and sync. Seems I now have to manually refresh to receive new emails.

I've been searching out some answers in this forum,...and I've ran across a few by doing a search for 'Contacts'.
Try checking out this post...http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s/230955-sync-phone-contacts-gmail-group-contacts.html

There are several others also. Just do a tread search in THIS forum.
There's a lot of good info available....but sometimes you need to do a specific search in order to narrow things down.
