Sync SAMSUNG Note and Mac Pro

I use outlook but would like to ensure to be as synced up as possible. I was thinking to change to ICal, IMail and IContact with sync to the newly bought Note. Somehow I spend a lot of time without much success.

For example - somehow I managed using Bluetooth to link some of my photos one-way from computer to phone. The phone ones are still on the phone. And how didI pick just a few of my hundreds of photo folders - I wonder.

I realize this can look pretty dumb of me, so try to understand that if I knew better I would not mention it at all.
