Help Sync Unavailable

Lurker
My Gmail has not sync'd on my phone (HTC EVO 4G) since last week. I have looked at all of the settings. When I go to Accounts & Sync there is a message at the bottom of the screen "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly." This message has been displayed for over a week now. Does anyone know what is going on, or if there's something I am missing? Fortunately my other apps (as well as my exchange mail) seem to keep up to date, even though I can't sync them from the Sync All button.

It appears to be fixed. I was also having an on-going problem with being out of space. I cleared data on FB (by far the largest use of space of my phone). I looked at that problem here in the forum and did as suggested - cleared data on on my largest app. As soon as I cleared fb, I got a new email notification from gmail. That was frustrating, but glad it seems to be cleared up!

I also periodically get that message when I try to syn my goggle account components. Anybody know the cause(s)??

I get the same issue as you fellas I'm starting to think it's one of those bugs that they just don't find until enough people report it as an issue. You know when any new update to a OS comes out it's bound to have little bugs that the dev's don't catch until users find them. And @RitaB124 you aren't lying about facebook that app is annoyingly large. I tried to uninstall it entirely but it won't go away using sense alone you can "roll back to the factory version" it says but even that takes up a hefty 50mb with nothing stored in the cache. If you've upgraded to the newer crappier version of the app they get up into the 150+mb range with no option to move to SD so I just use the browser we have to go to fb it's faster, with fewer bugs.
