Help Synch of Apps between devices

Nexus WiFi tablet user and now I also have an Android smartphone. I have just noticed that many of the Apps I installed on my tablet are now listed in my smartphone Apps under 'All' ... but they have not been installed and I don't want most of them. Can I delete without them being deleted on my tablet?

The synch of Gmail, Mail, Calendar and Contacts, is really good but I do not want all the tablet Apps on my smartphone ... how can I stop this please?

Thanks Ron

Delete what apps you don't want on the tablet. They will stay on the phone. To install only what you want on new devices in the future, in 'Settings > Backup and reset' turn off 'Automatic restore'. Then you can manually choose what is installed.

Thanks for reply. Actually I am looking to delete Apps off my phone that I don't want but I guess they will stay on the tablet.

Hi

The All tab in playstore lists all the apps that have ever been installed on any device with the particular google account you are using. It also shows if an app is currently installed (in which case it will also appear in the "installed" tab. There is really no need to delete the entries for those which are not installed - I find it can be a useful reminder of apps you once used and wish to try again (but can't quite remember the name). Anyway, being on that list in the all tab in playstore does not use memory on your device (unless they are installed).

You can certainly have a different group of apps installed on each device - google wont try to "sync" the app installations across devices.
