Is there a simple program yet to "Google Calendar Sync" (AKA gcal), which does calnedar, to do contacts?
I am yet to find a suitable solution, preferrably free or cheap.

"MyPhoneExplorer" has been suggested but has limitations.

Currently, I just delete gmail contacts momentarily, and re-import from outlook, and gmail synchs with phone - i do this as i make the changes mainly in outlook.

I just can't undertsand why google can't add to or create similar to gcal for contacts - baffles me :-(((

I use Go Contacts Sync. Its just a simpe basic program that creates a two way sync with Gmail Contacts. Just like GCal, but for contacts only. I set it up once and I totally forgot about it. I had to look at my Taskbar just to see what the program's name was. :)

Brilliant & easy to use - ONLY ONE MAJOR FLAW - i use a specific folder within my contacts for my phone (as I have other contact folders), and that software doesn't seem to have the ability to link to that!

EDIT: and worse, you can't exit the program from itself - unheard of in my opinion, and it doesn't have an uninstall option - not handy!

LOL. I clicked on thanks instead of quote. Oh well. One thing, why would you turn off a sync program? To exit it, right click on icon in taskbar, select "exit".

second, you can uninstall it from control panel like any program on your PC.

third, if you want to sync multiple folders to Google or any folder apart from main, you need paid software, like CompanionLink Pro. Otherwise, you can only sync main contacts folder.
