Synchronizing Google Contacts

Hi guys. Dont you have any problems with synchronizing Google Contacts ? Gmail and Google Calendar synchronize fine. When I set up google account all contacts are downloaded but when I then change the contact on PC, the synchronizing icon on lephone shows up (push works) but there is no result - the contact is changed only on PC, not in the phone.

I am running LEOS 1.0 with allphone 1.4.1 - dont you have similiar experience?

I can confirm it - allphone 1.4.1 (and above) has contact sync problems. I could sycn about half of all my contact from gmail. I found an exception in Android logs which aborts sync process. I don't know how to solve it. Hope Android 2.2/2.3 (not LEOS) can solve it.

I can't comment on this problems as I didn't test it.

But why are you using firmware 1.4.1?

That's a very old firmware.

If you don't want to use the beta 2.0 with manually google apps install use the custom version 1.7, it's the latest "ready to use" version with google apps.
