So I pulled all my friends contacts off facebook and onto my phone. However, the problem is that many of them are formatted the 1-xxx-xxx-xxx way. So when they text me, (say my friends number in my contacts is 1-222-333-4444) in my inbox instead of showing their name it will show 222-333-4444. What can I do to fix this? It won't let me edit them either.

Can you edit them in gmail?
You can't if they're synced from Facebook. Why does it matter? Are you actually having problems calling/texting?
