Help Syncing from S4

I've been over and over this problem myself but so far nothing has worked. Unfortunately all the searches involving syncing end up being about Google>Samsung calendar. I started using Samsung's calendar when I got my S4 (Verizon) when it came out. Just got my Note edge (T-mobile) two days ago.

No matter what I do some entries just won't sync to the Note edge. The ones that won't are even ones that were created WITH the samsung app. Most are there, but even new entries I add to Samsung calendar on the old phone to test (still connected to Verizon for now) will not sync over. I've turned on and off global syncing on both devices. Checked to make sure that all calendars accounts are selected in options. I even deleted the cache and data from all 3 (?) Samsung calendar apps (see attached picture). But nothing.

I guess I could just manually add the ones that aren't syncing as there aren't that many but at this point I'm taking it as a challenge, one that I don't seem to have the ability to solve.

Any idea what I should try next?

add them to the google calendar, make sure the same gmail account is setup on both phones, ensure calendar sync is enabled on both phones, sit back and enjoy. I despise the samsung calendar, and it's only good for samsung devices... when I changed from a Moto Maxx to my GN4, the sync was simple because it was already saved on my google account.

I tend to agree with you when it comes to most things Google vs Samsung (especially when it comes to bloat- which you come to expect with Samsung devices) but I seem to remember there being a reason why I liked the Samsung version better. I think it had something to do with the changing views from day>week>month. But it's been a couple years at least. But yeah, judging by the amount of people who have trouble syncing I think I'm going to have to just say screw it and forego Samsung for now.

It would be nice if these companies would just make their stuff work regardless of your preference.
