Syncing Google Calendar App on Galaxy S3 with Google Calendar

I have a Galaxy S3 phone with the Google Calendar App loaded on it and synced to Google Calendar.

When syncing takes place there may be the same event on both devices but with the event on one device more up to date than the other.

Can I decide which device takes priority over the other whilst syncing or will one device always take priority?

If the latter which device takes priority or can I decide which?

I'm not sure I understand.

When a sync occurs, all devices using the relevant Google account are updated with the same info. Can you give an example of what you mean by "more up to date"?
