syncing ipod with the droid incredible

Hi everyone. I am hoping I can find a solution to my problem. I recently got a droid incredible. I discovered I can wirelesely sync my droid with iTunes using Tunesync. Totally stoked about that. I have another dilema though. about 6 months ago, my computer crashed & I lost EVERYTHING! all my iTunes, other than what I have on my ipod touch. I am worried that if I attempt a sync with my new iTunes, I will lose everything I have left on my ipod. Plus, I am now mainly using my Droid Incredible. I am hoping there is a way I can sync my Droid directly with my ipod. Is there a way or is it just wishful thinking? Also, can anyone tell me how long the batteries are lasting for them on the Droid? Mine seems to be draining really fast. By the end of the day, I am on red. Thanks in advance for your help.

Welcome to the Android Forums!

I did a quick Google search and it looks like there are several Windows programs available to backup the contents of an ipod without iTunes...

Transfer iPod to computer Copy iPod to iTunes Backup iPod to PC
iPod Rip - iPod Copy, iPod Backup, Copy iPod to PC & iTunes

I have no experience with these apps or others like them so I can't make a specific recommendation.

With respect to battery life on the Droid Inc, that's a known problem with that particular phone. The short term (quick) solution is to buy an extended battery for the phone. In the longer term try things likeremoving any unnecessary widgets from any of the phones home screens, selecting a more conservative battery profile, and dimming the brightness on the screen.

thanks for the assist. I may try it depending how long this takes. A friend of mine recommended Pod to PC. Gonna try it first.
