syncing to microsoft 2007

[Android Question]

prior to the new Kies 3 i was able to sync contacts and calendar. Since I downloaded Kies 3, I can not longer sync. Is there a solution? I spent over 2 useless hours on Samsung help, erasing my phone - still no solution.
