Root SyncMyPix Problem

I was using the app SyncMyPix to update faccebook pics, and I have to do some of them manually. When i try to link them to the contact, it says the contact is a read-only. how do i change that?
 
Well here is what I did.
I exported all my contacts to my SD card. I then went to my gmail on my computer and hit the contacts button on the left side. Then I hit more actions "import". And then on the SD card there should be a Vcard that you can import. Then you they will all get imported and sync on your phone as GMAIL contacts. Then they won't be read only.

Hi there, I'm new to Android and have a silly question - what steps do I follow to actually export my contacts to the SD card?
