I'm trying to work out how to get synker to sync my emails via k9 mail?
Looking in the synker settings it only shows Google stuff?
I've disabled the stock mail app coz it a bit restricted.
Can I use synker to sync emails through k9?

It's been a while since I've used it, but I want to say that Synker can only control apps which use the Google sync framework - that is, those that show up under Settings > Accounts. Since K-9 stores its account information internally, there's no way (that I know of) to control its sync settings externally.

One suggestion that I can make - try out AquaMail. It's built off of K-9, adds a lot of extra controls and features, and has built-in Tasker support which will allow you to create a profile to manage the sync actions.

Thanks is codesplice.
Outdoor you elaborate on how I'd use the built in tasker support to control sync.
For example when I'm home connected to wifi sync every 10mins. When I'm out and about sync every 2 hours?

That's actually one profile that I haven't configured before, so I'm not sure exactly how best to make it work. Just as a quick though, here's what I came up with:

Profile: HomeSync
Context:
• State: Wifi Connected
- SSID: HomeSSID
• Time: From 00:00
- Repeat: Every 10 minutes
Task:
• Plugin: AquaMail
- Sync Now (sorry, I don't currently have Aquamail installed so I'm not sure exactly what it says)

Profile: OutSync
Context:
• State: Wifi Connected
- SSID: HomeSSID
- Invert
• Time: From 00:00
- Repeat: Every 2 Hours
Task:
• Plugin: AquaMail
- Sync Now
