Help System characters all messed up

Hi, I noticed that there is a problem, when searching in contacts did not return the usual results. I started to mess around in the menus when noticed that the Settings up is all messed up:

This happened seemingly without any reasons, there were no updates or any other change in the usual way I use my phone.

Any ideas on what might have caused this?
