Help System Data size

Hello everyone!

I've already posted this, but I don't see it on this forum and I realised that I hadn't posted it with the "support" sign, so I'm putting this here too!

I joined this forum hoping i could find some help with my problem.

A month ago I got an LG spirit. Within a couple of days I noticed that the System Data under Misc files had already occupied a 5GB of space... The whole internal storage is 8GB and I have an SD card installed with 14GB.

I've had the automatic backup feature turned off since the beggining.

I've moved all the apps to the external storage since my phone now has only 3 GB to work with but I'm noticing that many files and apps won't allow me to move them out of the internal storage. Is there any workaround to this?

When I connect my phone to a PC, the Internal Storage folder appears to have only 3.45GB. I don't know what's that about either. Is it just showing the space not occupied by System Data?

Is there any way to access the System Data and determine what's hogging all that space?

I've tried a factory reset and as soon as i went through the starting setup and to the home screen I checked the storage to see that the System Data was occupting exactly the same space as before!

Any help would be grately appreciated!

Is this a compact or something? Do they have less memory? G4 has 32GB internal storage, my system data is over 9GB. I'm afraid you cant' delete anything in there (especially so without root and isn't advisable in case you delete something necessary). The system Data will be the actual software, the guts of the phone, the user interface and everything you see and use on it I believe. Moving apps to SD only moves part of the data in the apps there. To move the whole app to SD you would need to root the phone and format the SD card to be like an additional "internal storage" with apps like Link2SD. Without root the SD card is really just for holding media / documents etc.
