<P>All was going well until 3 weeks in a little grey Android apeared on the notification bar and Paranoia set in ......All it tells me is "SYSTEM" and the on board instructions are a bit vague. Any thoughts &nbsp;</P>
 
It's likely a new type of advertising that's been a growing problem for users. Search for AirPush. Though it could be a number of different ad providers.

What apps have you installed recently?
 
Search for AirPush apps can 'Addons Detector'. Let it scans your apps and set the filter for 'Push Notification Ads'.
