Okay just recieved a System Update Request on my Warp 4g. What should I expect or should I just not allow the update? I'm thinking of leaving well enough alone....

Have you upgraded to KitKat or is your phone jellybean?
Cause if its the update, might as well install the odex/ deodexed version on the forum and obtain root via flashing

Yeah upgrading will unroot since it flashes a new recovery and core system files.
I recommend that you flash KitKat instead of upgrading via ota since it has a flashable root and it doesn't erase/ replace your custom recovery.
Keep mind you'll need a fresh install so back up what you need to your sd and format via phils recovery (best recovery for this phone so far) and flash.
If you don't want to switch, you'll keep getting the notification and you'll miss out on optimization.
Ask any other question here or pm me for a more better explaination.

Thanks.....
