System Update. Some questions.

Hello, I have the DHD with Telus. It's asking my to do a system update. Not sure if I should. Some questions.

What is the update? I currently have the 2.2.1. What is it go to?

Does this wipe the phone clean? Do I loose all my apps?

If I do this should I save anything before i do this?

Any help or suggestions will be great. Thanks

This is the Gingerbread update which will bring your phone to 2.3.3.

This will just update the operating system. It won't wipe your phone or cause you to lose anything. The only thing you should do before the update is make sure your phone is fully charged and make sure you use wi-fi to download the update if you can as it is 100mb download.
