A system update is ready to install..."

Hello,
I am getting below msg since today 10-14-13. I'm rooted so guess should loose root if update. I cannot flash a custom rom because unlocked BL.
Can I do something to stop that popup msg?

In "More Information" tab of that msg says:
MS769 update package from V10b to V10d
MetroPCS is pleased to provide a new, free software, bla, bla, bla,...
 
You can turn off updates or you can unroot, your choice. If you update, you should be able to root again the same way you did the first time.
 
It's not an update technically. It's a re-upgrade to what came with the metro l9 stock. I went through the process once already and rerooting works just fine.
 
If you want to unroot the easiest way should be just to get latest update, make a nandroid before just in case...
 
Starting to miss my motion a little. @ sammyz can you if/when you have time make another unbrick guide for this phone like you did with the motion.. I now more than ever appreciate the work you put in to make unbricking the motion so easy!!!!
 
The ota worked on mine and reinstalled all the bloat with it. Put it back to pure stock. I was rooted, and it updated first try. Re-rooting after worked first try, again, as well.
 
Any way to remove the notification ? Don't want to update because I'll loose root and then my apps won't work and such .
