Root T-Mobile and Metro changes to hotspot

Things changed today guys. Starting today T-Mobile (I've seen conflicting reports about metro) has started giving free tethering. Any line that doesn't have totally unlimited data can use every bit of their monthly data in hotspot now. For people like me who have totally unlimited data, we will now have 7gb instead of 5gb hotspot.

Also they will no longer cut off hotspot when you get to your limit. Now they will be throttling

Wow. Really? I've seen other people on other sites report metro got it also. Sorry man. I can verify that I got an extra 2gb of hotspot. Yesterday I was at 5gb (I verified in hopes of seeing an increase today.) And I was pleasantly surprised to see 7gb on my My T-Mobile app. I used almost 2gb today, so as of right now I am at 5.6 gb of hotspot for the month. I will report back (tomorrow or the next day) about the hotspot throttling speeds rather than connecting to the up sell page.

Its on the official metropcs page. When you choose a plan it now tells you it is included. Hotspot now counts against your mobile data plan and once it is used up they throttle speed. If you have unlimited data then you receive 7gb of hotspot data and then it is throttled afterwards. Very nice and welcome change.

But I feel there's something coming
