T-Mobile bill with fees and taxes.

I don't have T-Mobile, but just wanted to say that's a lot of extra cash. I believe it's about average though for the big carriers if that's what you were hoping to compare.
 
My base bill is $30/mo, but with fees and taxes it's $30/mo.*

*(I'm using the 5GB/100min/unlimited text prepaid plan, and purchase refill cards through callingmart.com to avoid fees/taxes).

It's probably important to clarify exactly what you're paying for (number of lines, level of service, etc) if you're looking for a solid comparison with other folks.
 
Mine is prepaid and I buy it from ebay and others. There are no tax, no 911 fees, junk fees, etc.
 
I thought it was obvious I was referring to 'post-paid' vs pre.
4 lines ( 2 with 2.5 gigs/2 with 500mb at full speed).

Not to hijack my own thread with the merits of each, but we have unlimited voice, Conditional Call Forwarding and a business write-off.

btw... the taxes and fees add a whopping 24% onto the bill. One should always ask for the 'out-the door' price. That said, I'm still happy with Tmo when comparing carriers.
 
My current bill was $26.24 for 500 MB data (inc. LTE, unlimited but throttled after the first 500 MB), and unlimited talk and text, then 1.52 USF fee and 1.00 e911: $28.76 total.

The service is by 35orless through T-Mobile, and includes conditional call forwarding, data roaming, and tethering.
 
24% of your bill is a lot. I don't think is right. Are you sure? 7% is the normal sales tax. $2 for 911 fees?

Same. In California I pay $30 flat every month. But I know at least one other state that charges taxes on the exact same plan.
 
The taxes and fees added that i'm describing are absolutely accurate in the post-paid plan.
You people with $30/mo pre-paid are saving more than you realize!
 
Those taxes seem too high. Here in NY, we have one of the highest, if not the highest cell phone tax. Here, one line comes to about $11 added tax.

I have to pay sales tax when I purchase my my refill cards from Best Buy, but the advantage is that I can accumulate Reward Zone points on it to get cash back. :D

Yep, I get points with callingmart too. I want to say that it works out to about a free refill every year.
 
Ouch! unfortunately Florida has one of the highest cell phone tax. Noting t-mobile can do about this, you'd be paying high taxes whatever carrier you're with.
 
Most prepaid plans have the taxes and fees already baked in, though sometimes you have to pay sales tax depending on where you buy. It's just another reason to go prepaid over postpaid IMO.
 
When I refill through Tmobile, the total comes to $32 and some change! I guess I'll check around for other places that offer refill cards without taxes or BB and earn reward points. :)

So people with pre-paid plan are getting away with murder.

Who is eating up all these fees then?

You're still paying for them, but they're already pay off the cost. The plans are cheaper because there's no data roaming, so they don't have to pay other carriers for using other towers.
