Root [T-Mobile] Crashing Issue

Wrat9000

Lurker
I have a crashing issue that I cannot seem to find any other thread that have similar symptoms.

I will be using the phone, and it will crash. It cannot power back on using the power button. I plug it back into the charger, and it begins to charge and reboot. At that time, the batter shows zero battery.

I unplug the charger, and the phone's battery continues to increase, so I believe the zero battery life is false (plus no low battery warnings previously).

I have performed a factory restore, and I still have this issue. I jailbroke the phone, so I cannot take it to a carrier. What's the solution?

Welcome to the forum.

With any luck a full wipe and then reflashing your firmware should fix the problem. Since you're rooted I'd go for a stock based custom Rom instead of stock firmware as it will be simpler and still give you the same look and feel. You will be able to flash it from recovery and won't need to reroot after so less messing around.

Which variant of the gs3 do you have so you'll be able to get done recommendations on roms

I can't really recommended a ROM as I have a different model so I'll move this to the T-Mobile all things root forum. You should get some recommendations from other members who have tried them out:)
