Root [T-Mobile] My contacts app is gone!

I have a rooted T-Mobile G2. Yesterday my contacts app disappeared from my app drawer. It is still in Apps under Settings, my contacts still all show up in the phone app, and I can create LG widgets with contacts. What can I do to attempt to get this icon back?

Are you on a custom rom? If so are you using a stock lg ui rom or aosp?

Stock ROM still, I also checked in Root Browser and ES File Explorer and Contacts is there, properly named, with proper permissions.

Do you mean that the icon is gone from the bottom dock? You should be able to drag it back in there from the Apps folder, "long press" the contacts icon, and then move/drag it to the dock (just tried it).

Unless I am misunderstanding.

No, it's gone from the app drawer/apps folder, there is no icon anywhere for me to click.
