We've had one for years. They work well. The signal at home is better than it used to be and we probably don't really need it anymore, but we leave it running anyway.
They claimed it would boost my wifi signal. But I think it would be only if I allowed it to take over as my router. Which I don't think I am willing to do.
I've had a few problems with Wifi calling and I found that I could only get MMS over Wifi with the stock Messages app. It is a better router than my old one and has a better Wifi signal. The main advantage for me is to use Wifi data instead of phone data.
